WILLIAMS – Geneva M., 98,  Johnstown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015. Born Oct. 30, 1916, in Smethport, Pa., daughter of Daniel and Mary (Marks) States. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jay Williams; stepfather, Roy Conrath; daughter, Mary Jane Dietz; son in- law, Deneen Dietz;  daughter, Kathleen Blough; sisters, Mildred Thayer and Edna Parks;  brothers, James States, Charles States and Lynn States; and brother-in-law, Lee Fulton. Survived by son, Charles Williams, married to the former Kathleen Kelley; brothers, Merle States, married to Jean; David “Bud” States, married to Joyce; sister, Jean Fulton; sister-in-law, Carole States; grandchildren, Denise, married to John Sullivan; Janeen, wife of Robert James Sr.; Martin Dietz; Michelle; Dorsey “Butch” Dietz, married to Leslie; Lorie Dietz; Joseph Blough; Dylan Blough; Mindy Williams; and Jay Williams; 26 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Geneva was a 1934 graduate of Glen Campbell High School, where she was valedictorian. Attended Grace Assembly of God Church. She appreciated the little things in life, a great-great-grandchild on her lap, a good book in her hand, the warmth of summer sun on her skin, the sound of a good hymn, a hillside in autumn’s bloom. She had a heart that always gave to others.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Douglas W. Price Sr., officiating.  Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery
