Gary A. Updyke, Jr.

UPDYKE – Gary Allen Jr., 19, Johnstown, passed away Sept. 10, 2015. Born Oct. 19, 1995, in Windber, son of Gary and Kelly (Cinko) Updyke. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Charles Cinko, and paternal grandparents, William and Shirley Updyke. Survived by loving parents; daughter, Brooklynn Updyke; sister, Courtney Updyke; girlfriend, Jacinta DiBartola; maternal grandmother, Charlotte Cinko; these aunts and uncles: Jim and Kerri Updyke, Bill and Connie Updyke, Debbie Updyke, Sherry Updyke, Carol Cinko, Dianna Sowerbrower and Mike and Tina Cinko; and numerous cousins. Gary enjoyed playing football and basketball and spending time with his friends. His daughter was his pride and joy, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m.  Tuesday at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown.
