Frank "Hank" Stahr

Stahr, Frank "Hank", 75 of New Florence RD, formerly of Johnstown, passed away March 9 , 2017 at Indiana Hospital. Born October 5, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of Robert F. and Mary C. (Ream) Stahr Sr. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert Jr., Donald, and James Stahr. Brothers in- law Gary Boyd and John McMonagle. Survived by loving wife of 27 years the former Linda Hunt. Brother Thomas Stahr married to Marge, Florida. Sisters, Kathleen Boyd, Maryland, Patricia McMonagle, Johnstown. Sisters in- law Eva Stahr-Kessler, Cathy Stahr. Best buddies Chloe, Holly and Augie. Hank was a member of Valley Grace Brethren Church, Armagh, where he served as a choir member and trustee. He was a journeyman carpenter. He was retired from FMC Homer City. He volunteered with CART in both Cambria and Westmoreland County. At Hank's request there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial service will be held Wednesday March 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at Valley Grace Brethren Church, Armagh, Rev. Norris Mason officiating.
