Florence E. Rose

Rose, Florence C.,  79 of Windber passed away October 14, 2021 at Amber Springs, Johnstown. Born June 21, 1942 in Johnstown. Daughter of Samuel Paul and Emma (Boothby) Custer. Preceded in death by parents, husband Harry Gene Rose, daughter Anita Marie Jardina and brother Donald Custer. Survived by loving grandchildren Mark Jardina of Maryland and Alex Jardina of Johnstown. Niece Colleen Horner and Christina wife of Cliff Kauffman and nephew John Custer. Also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews. Florence was formerly employed by Miller Block and Sheesley Concrete. She was an avid BINGO player, she enjoyed square dancing, playing cards and traveling. Friends will be received Saturday 12pm up until the time of service at 3pm at Geisel Funeral Home Johnstown. Rev. Stephen Moore officiating.
