Everett W. Michaels

Michaels, Everett W. 94 of Ruskin, Florida and originally of Johnstown, PA, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 4, 2019. Everett was a WWII veteran proudly serving in the US Navy with the 109th Seabees.  A self-taught crafts man and artist, some of Everett’s work is displayed and admired in St. Anne Catholic Church in Ruskin, FL.  Mr. Michaels is survived by his sons: Tim (Marion), Bill (Sharon), Dave, and Joe Michaels; a daughter Phyllis; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  He is predeceased by his wife Rose Marie, his daughter,Mary Ann, and grandson Francis Ferenchik.  The family received friends at 10 AM Monday, Sept 9, 2019 at St Anne Catholic Church, Ruskin FL followed by a Mass of the Resurrection at 11 AM.  Friends will be received from 10 AM up until the time of service at 11 AM Thursday, Sept 12, 2019 at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown.  Interment Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.  Military Honors in charge of Conemaugh Valley Detachment #287 Marine Corp League.  Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown is honored to serve the family.
