DRUGO – Elizabeth “Betty,” 93, Johnstown, died June 3, 2015, at Arbutus Park Manor. Born Aug. 14, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of George and Cecilia (Malzi) Frick. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 67 years, John A. Drugo; sister, Dolores; and brothers, Don and George. Survived by children, John (Chris), Ed (Patricia) and Jan Wilson (Tom); grandchildren, Christie O’Toole (Patrick), Doug (Dana), Missy Bradley (Todd), T.J. (Stephanie) and Jill Awad (Chris); and great-grandchildren, Johnny, Tyler and Josie O’Toole; Claire and Abigal Drugo; Annie, Gracie and Max Bradley; and Anthony, Hailey, Kaia and Gavin Wilson. Also survived by brother, Joe Frick; sister, Mary Grace Pavlick; “sister” Gloria Frick; and dear friend, Anna Mary Courtney. Betty was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and graduated from the former Johnstown Catholic High School. She worked for Conemaugh Black Lick Railroad and Swanks Hardware after high school, and later served as secretary for Geistown Borough. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Father David Peles, officiating. Entombment, Richland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arbutus Park Manor in memory of Elizabeth “Betty” Drugo.
