Elaine D. Rummel

Rummel, Elaine D.,  91, formerly of Johnstown. Passed away January 2, 2019 in Clarion. Born February 22, 1927 in Sidman, PA. Daughter of Abraham and Elsie (Eppley) Knepper. Preceded in death by parents, husband John E. Rummel Sr. Son John E. Rummel Jr. Grandson Edward Clay Rummel Sr. and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter Deborah S. married to Frederick Byers of Johnstown. Granddaughters Jill, Jennifer. Grandson Martin. Great-grandchildren Amanda, Kristin, Eddie Jr., Kevin, Michael , Zak, Nik, Shawn and Nathan. Three great-great grandchildren. Daughter in-law Linda Rummel. Brothers Clifford Knepper, Lynn Cramer and sister Alice Braddee. Numerous nieces and nephews. The most important thing to Elaine was family. She babysat for many years. Elaine loved crafting and was a devoted Christian. Friends received from 2-4pm Saturday at Geisel Funeral Home-Johnstown where funeral service will be held at 4:00pm Private interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
