Elaine I Kozak

KOZAK – Elaine I., 75, Altoona, formerly of New York City, passed away Nov. 13, 2015, at home. Born Oct. 14, 1940, in Vintondale, daughter of Stephan and Johanna (Czmire) Nagy. Preceded in death by parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by loving children, Sally Kozak, Harrisburg; Brian, married to the former Patricia Bubenko, Stroudsburg; Victoria, married to Benjamin Emeigh, Johnstown; and Sandra Gergely, Altoona; loving grandchildren, Nichole Garland, Justin Emeigh, Stephen Kozak, Michael Kozak, Alexandra Kozak and Joseph Gergely; loving great-grandson, Michael Garland; loving brothers, Joseph, Michael and James Nagy; and beloved dog, Sunshine. Elaine was an avid traveler of the world. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. At Elaine’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. The family is being served Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Please make donations in Elaine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
