Edward J. Cassick

Cassick, Edward J., 76, of Johnstown, passed away Monday May 20, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. Born October 4, 1947, in Johnstown, son of Edward and Anna (Hritz) Cassick. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Phyllis Cassick; sister, Delores; and brother, Donald. Survived by children, Michelle Cassick, wife of David Hoffman, and Edward Cassick Jr.; grandchildren, Shannon Hoffman and Edana Jean Lambert; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward was employed by Leitenberger's and U.S. Steel of Moxham. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Prodigy Dialysis and the staff for their care, especially Kelly and Mike. We would like to thank Med-Van services and everyone who took Edward back and forth, especially Rich for your compassion and friendship. Also AseraCare Hospice for their wonderful nurses and care they gave Edward. By request, there will be no visitation or services. Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown is honored to serve the family.
