Swick, Dorothy Helen , 92, of Johnstown, passed away August 5, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center - Johnstown. Born June 12. 1927 in Johnstown. Daughter of John and Pauline Frieda ( Brokloff) Swick. Preceded in death by parents, and cousins Sharon Lee Gretok, Ronald Dean Brokloff, and Ann Brokloff. Survived by cousins William M. Gretok, William E. Gretok, Melissa Shaffer, Timothy Gretok, Rebecca Corte, Ned Brokloff and families. Dorothy was a 1945 graduate of Johnstown High School. She was a retired bookkeeper working at Flood City Brass and Electric Co. and Thackray Supply Co. Dorothy was a retired organist having played at St. Phillips Lutheran Church in Wilmington, Delaware and Trinity United Methodist Church in Johnstown for 33 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church - Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2 pm to 4 pm Friday at Geisel Funeral Home - Johnstown. Prayer service to be recited at 2 pm, the Rev. Walter Startzel. Funeral service will be held at 4 pm at funeral home, the Rev. Hans Peter Helmers officiating. Private interment Grandview Cemetery.
