Denise E. Engle

ENGLE – Denise Estelle “Neesy,” 64, Johnstown, passed away Jan. 19, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 5, 1949, in Johnstown, daughter of Kenneth J. and Dorothy E. (Hoskins) Hettle. Preceded in death by parents, and sister, Ann Louise Foster. Survived by loving daughters, Kelli, married to Shane Davis, High point, N.C., and Kimberly Engle, Johnstown; niece, Ashley Williams; nephew, Kenneth Foster; great-nephew, Matthew Foster; an special friends, Joanne Shortt and Kathy Bortz. She was formerly a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. She was employed by Central Cambria School District in food service. She loved her miniature dachshund, Elle, and enjoyed playing cards. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. James Crookston, officiating.
