Delores Snyder-Gosnell

Snyder-Gosnell, Delores, 81, of Johnstown, passed away April 12.2019 at Arbutus Park Manor - Johnstown. Born November 14, 1937 in Johnstown. Daughter of Delbert and Carrie (Mock) Penrod. Preceded in death by parents, first husband Richard Wayne Gosnell Sr. , Second husband James Francis Snyder, and brothers David, Robert, William and Gordon Penrod. Survived by loving children, Richard Wayne Gosnell married to the former Faylene (Freenock)-Johnstown , Lydia Kunselman-Johnstown, Timothy Gosnell married to the former Catherine (Freeman)-Johnstown, and William Gosnell married to the former Sandy (Terek)-Pittsburgh; thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.  Delores was retired from The Lee Shop after many years.  She loved to bake cookies and was known as "The Gob Maker".  Delores loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her family was very important to her.  Friends will be received Monday  from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where  Funeral Service will be held 11 am Tuesday,  Rev. William Penrod officiating.  Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, South Fork.  In lieu of flowers, make donations to Aseracare Hospice.  The family would like to thank the Arbutus Manor staff in the Doerr Wing for their excellent care, also to Aseracare Hospice.  www.geiselfh.com.
