Deborah Thomas

Thomas, Deborah - 65 of Oakland passed away September 25, 2017 at home. Born June 3, 1952 in Johnstown daughter of Frank and Sarah (Johnson) Berkebile. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Randy Berkebile and sister, Gale Ramsdorfer. Survived by loving husband David Thomas Sr. loving children David Thomas Jr. married to the former Dauan Nachampassak, Deanna wife of Jeff Ford, and Daisy wife of Bill Culbert. Grandchildren, Brandon, Corey and Danielle Culbert, Zeke Thomas, and Sarah Ford. Also survived by sister, Pamela Berkebile and best friend of 50 years Candy Cain. Deborah was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church and VFW Post 155 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events and traveling. Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm Thursday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held 11:00am Friday Pastor Ralph Cain officiating. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Windber Hospice or Altoona VA Hospital.
