Cheryl E. May

May – Cheryl Elaine 65 of Johnstown passed away January 16, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 13, 1959, in Dayton Tennessee daughter of Billy William and Margaret Elizabeth (Pennington) Sneed. Preceded in death by parents and son Samule J. Walters. Survived by loving companion Samuel Walters and children Brandy Lynn May, Virginia Beth May, Benjamin D. May, Samantha Walters and Brenda Lee Walters. Siblings Wanda Pastrana, Ralph Thomas, Raymond Thomas, Rebecca Thompson, and Donny Pennington.  Numerous grandchildren nieces and nephews and dear friend Ann and Joe Hipp. Cheryl was an excellent southern cook, and enjoyed reading especially Little House on the Prairie. Most recently she was able to visit the house from A Christmas Story.  She was a loving mother and friend who will be missed. By request all services will be private.
