Charles E. Hochstein

Hochstein- Charles E. "Bud", 87, of Johnstown, passed away June 9, 2019 at home. Born June 23, 1931 in Johnstown. Son of Herbert Conrad and Catherine (Hess) Hochstein. Preceded in death by parents, wife Glendora Fay, and Brother H. Donald Hochstein. Survived by children, Dr. Donald D. Hochstein, Johnstown, Debra A. Munzo, Johnstown, Charles E. Hochstein Jr. married to the former Denise Autro, Fredericksburg VA, Barbara M. married to Marvin Howard, Johnstown and David L. Hochstein married to the former Beth Geibig, Amherst VA. Also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Charles was a member of First Lutheran Church. He was a Johnstown High School graduate. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corporation with 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a Steeler Fan. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Geisel Funeral Home-Johnstown where funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, Pastor Randy Bain officiating. Private Interment Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nardecchia Spay and Neuter Fund.
