Catherine Dom

DOM – Catherine (Curry), 92, Johnstown, fell asleep in the Lord March 16, 2014. Born Aug. 21, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of Saba and Adela (Mena) Curry. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Raymond Dom. Survived by daughter, Tonikay (Curry), wife of Dennis Metzgar Sr.; stepsons, Raymond Dom Jr. and Larry Dom; grandchildren, Jeremiah Sr., Dennis Jr. and Tonikay; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Elijah Jasmine, Jeremiah Jr. and Zahra; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., the Very Rev. Father Donald Shadid, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may by made to St. Mary’s Special Fund, 111 Alberta Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15905.
