Carole Saunders

Saunders – Carole 86, of Beaver Falls formerly of Johnstown, passed away July 5, 2026 at home. Born July 13, 1939 in Johnstown daughter of C. Merle and Ethel (Fuller) Rummell. Preceded in death by parents, husband James Saunders, son Don Saunders, sister Shirley Dankert and brother Bud Rummel. Survived by son James “Jimmy” Saunders, daughter – in-law Michelle Saunders, grandchildren; Alisha married to Shawn Reese, Ashley Saunders and companion Kurtis Young, and Alexis married to RJ. Wodarek. Great-grandchildren; Aubrey and Madison Reese, and Colton and Lacey Young, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also “adopted by love” Kristen and husband Alan Taylor and their children Alana and Tara. Carole was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren where she managed the daycare service. She took pride in her home, by making sure everything had a place and well organized. She enjoyed relaxing on the porch reading a biography book, but most of all she loved her family, taking care of her son Jimmy and grandchildren and great – grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday July 10, 2026 from 10am until time of service at Noon. Entombment Richland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Carole’s memory.
