Grayson - Carl Rodger Jr., 71, of Johnstown, passed away April 28, 2024, peacefully at home. Born May 18, 1952, in Johnstown, son of Carl Sr. and Annie (Jackson) Grayson. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Carol Ann Grayson. Survived by loving wife of 50 years whom he met in High School, the former Denise Berry, and their loving daughter, Tina, wife of Paul Tedeski. Grandchildren, Aiden and Dean. Also survived by brother, Kenny; sister, Jackie; special nieces, Connie and Dori; and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends. Carl was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School class of 1971. As a young man he worked many odd jobs, then professionally at Bethlehem Steel and then worked as a landscaper and handyman. He had many interests including art, music, and was a collector of animals, clocks and lighthouses. By request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Interment service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to thank Conemaugh Hospice for their wonderful care provided to Carl as he courageously battled cancer in his final days.
