Fisher, Blanche Doreen 71, of Johnstown passed away February 1, 2017 at home. Born January 7, 1946 in Johnstown. Daughter of Charles T. and Grace Eileen (Noon) Van. Preceded in death by parents, brother Fredrick Lee Van, and grandson Zachary David Shank. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, William A. Fisher Jr. Loving children, William A. Fisher III, married to the former Valerie Lynn Seese, Mineral Point; Charles Thomas Fisher, Johnstown; Audra Grace, married to William Oren Shank, Johnstown. Grandchildren, Cymba, William, Charles, Kayla, Christopher, Grace and Joseph. Great grandchildren, Michael, Colton, Macie, and Amelia. Brother, Robert Eugene Van (Linda), Ohio; and sister, Karen Brandle (Gary), Johnstown. Doreen was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral. She was owner of Arctic Al's in Ferndale for 9 years. She managed the Dairy Queen in Westmont. She belonged to many mixed and women's bowling leagues and also the Polish Falcons. Doreen worked as a cake decorator at Ideal Market and also made wedding cakes. Friends will be received from 5pm to 8 p.m. Friday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral. Fr. Clarence Bridges officiating. Entombment Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
