HASSE – Betty A., 68, Johnstown, passed away Dec. 4, 2013, at home. Born Jan. 3, 1945, in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony and Anna (Medvic) Rodak. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Joan “Pinky” Rodak; brother, Anthony Rodak; and son-in-law, Joseph W. Vogel. Survived by loving children, John, married to the former Joni Blackwelder, South Dakota; Michelle, married to Tom Reed, Johnstown; and Dawn, and fiance, Scott Miller, Johnstown; loving grandchildren, Kayla, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Treigh, Rachael, Courtney, Ian, Thomas, Gabby, Tristan, Tanner and Delanie; and loving sisters, Nancy, married to John Kobal, Johnstown; and Marian “Mitsy,” married to Moe Moulden, York. Betty worked as a nurse’s aide at Arbutus Manor. Member of Harmony Club. She was an avid Steelers fan and a collector of angels. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Eleanor Abarno, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
