Barry Kenneth Ott

OTT – Barry Kenneth, 64, Johnstown, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 22, 1950, in Johnstown, son of Charles W. and Minerva (Custer) Ott. Preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Brenda; infant son, Charles Jr.; and brother, Duane. Survived by wife, Christine Morales-Ott; former wife and lifelong friend, Judith C. Ott; daughter, Karrie Slippy; stepdaughter, Heather Morales-Eppley; and grandchildren, Mckenzie, Samantha, Kierra, Paige Elizabeth and Madison. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Kathy Ott and Camille Seganos. Barry worked as a steward at Woodvale Olympic Club. He tended bar at Woodvale Athletic Club. He enjoyed fishing and model railroading. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Barry was employed by Pinnacle Plumbing and Heating, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received at 10 a.m. Wednesday for a memorial service at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, Father Clarence Bridges, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Barry Kenneth Ott.
