He was an Army veteran during the Korean War. He was employed by The Tribune-Democrat in the composing department for many years. He retired from there in 1991. Dad was always amazed that what started as a blind date arranged by mutual friends Bob and Priscilla Vincini turned into his surviving family. Warren prided himself on providing for his family, loved a shiny new car, and spending time outside in the sunshine. The family wishes to thank the McCullough Place staff and Viaquest Hospice for the care given to Dad. Friends received 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, where service will be held at noon at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown. Private interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to McCullough Place recreation fund or American Cancer Society.
