James E. Evans, Sr.

Evans, Sr. James E., "Jim," 52, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully April 12, 2024, at home. Born August 31, 1971, in Johnstown, son of Robert and Betty (Clawson) Evans. Preceded in death by mother. Survived by son, James E. Evans Jr.; father, Robert Evans; sister, Wendy, wife of Ty Conrad; Uncle George Evans; and numerous other aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, Harley Maldet, Alexzander Maldet and Willow Maldet. Also, a special thank you to Aimee Crouse for her special care and friendship to Jim. He was a member of Life Church of Windber. He enjoyed music especially the band Black Sabbath, driving his Buick all around town and lived life to the fullest. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to family and friends over the past few years for their love and support. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Life Church - Windber, Pastor Rick Smith officiating. Private interment.
